Before the shipment
Share the supplier order, expected quantities, carton or item identifiers and delivery dates. Confirm the receiving address, appointment, contact and handling requirements before the supplier dispatches.
Furniture receiving & delivery
Plan commercial furniture receiving, delivery and placement across Orange County and Los Angeles County. One BMG project manager coordinates the agreed physical work with your supplier, building and installation contacts.
Share the supplier order, expected quantities, carton or item identifiers and delivery dates. Confirm the receiving address, appointment, contact and handling requirements before the supplier dispatches.
Agree how quantities and visible condition will be checked and recorded, who can accept the shipment, and who handles any shortage or damage report with the supplier.
Match each group to its destination rooms and the approved layout. Include the agreed transport, unpacking, furniture assembly, placement and packaging-removal tasks in the written scope.
Use item or carton identifiers that connect the supplier’s order to your room list. Identify split shipments, missing components and any items needed for an earlier phase. Assign the person who can approve substitutions or changes to the layout.
Review loading access, elevator size, permitted delivery hours and room readiness. If furniture needs staging or storage before final delivery, confirm the location, provider, access and handling arrangements separately for your project.
Define installation responsibilities with the furniture vendor. Confirm any building connections, fixed installation or specialist work with the responsible provider before scheduling the moving crew.
Confirm receiving availability, scope and dates with your project manager before sending a shipment to an address.
