Business Moving Group

School & university moving

Plan the campus move around the academic calendar.

Coordinate classroom furniture, campus offices and boxed contents across Orange County and Los Angeles County. One BMG project manager brings the agreed moving work, access requirements and destination plan into a written scope.

Define the work by building and room

Classrooms and learning spaces

Inventory desks, chairs, cabinets and boxed teaching materials by room. Match each group to the campus’s approved destination layout and agree packing and placement responsibilities.

Campus offices

Plan staff workstations, reception areas, meeting rooms and ordinary office equipment. Assign IT shutdown, reconnect and testing responsibilities to the campus IT team or its designated provider.

Shared and support areas

Identify furniture, freestanding shelving and boxed supplies for shared rooms and support spaces. Review laboratory equipment, fixed installations and other specialist items separately before including them in the moving scope.

Set the sequence before confirming the dates

  1. Map the rooms. List origin and destination buildings, floor levels, furniture counts and boxed materials.
  2. Coordinate campus access. Have your campus lead confirm entry permissions, loading areas, elevators, permitted hours and routes around occupied areas.
  3. Assign the handoffs. Identify who packs, approves the layout, handles records and IT, and accepts each completed room.
  4. Agree the work window. Review breaks, term dates and reopening priorities. Confirm phased or after-hours work against availability and the written scope.

Bring the campus plan to the walkthrough

Share room lists, approximate quantities, access requirements and target dates. Use building and room identifiers on moving labels. Keep student records and personal information within the school’s approved handling process.
