Furniture donations when possible
Office furniture that can still be used may be suitable for donation. We donate furniture when possible, considering its condition, whether a recipient can accept it and the timing and access needed for delivery.
Reusable moving crates
We use reusable crates for office moves. Plan the quantities, packing responsibilities, delivery and collection with your project manager so the materials fit the moving sequence.
Agree what stays, moves, gets donated or gets recycled
- Review the inventory. Identify furniture you will keep or move, items you would like to donate and metal being removed.
- Check the options. Review furniture condition and donation acceptance, along with the metal items proposed for recycling.
- Set the sequence. Coordinate the agreed removal and delivery work with building access, your move date and any lease handover deadline.
- Confirm the written scope. Agree which items go where, who approves the decisions and the work included in the price before removal begins.
Donation depends on a suitable recipient being able to accept the furniture. Confirm the plan for any items that cannot be donated with your project manager before the work is scheduled.
Bring the item list and your priorities
Share the furniture types, approximate quantities, condition and metal items you expect to remove. Include the site, access requirements and target dates. If you have a preferred donation recipient, tell us early so acceptance and timing can be reviewed.
