Business Moving Group

Team & equipment

The people and preparation behind your move.

Business Moving Group has served commercial clients since 2018. Your project brings together a project manager, the crew and the moving materials agreed for your scope, building and operating schedule.

Know who handles each part of the work

Your project manager

Your point of contact for the walkthrough, inventory, written moving scope and schedule. Building access, destination layout and the handoffs with your team are part of that plan. Route proposed changes through this contact so the work and price can be agreed before proceeding.

The moving crew

Carries out the agreed packing, physical handling, transport and destination placement. Destination labels and the approved layout guide the work. Review any item-specific handling needs before the crew is scheduled.

Furniture installation work

When included in the written scope, the work covers identified desks, workstations and cubicle components. Confirm the furniture models, available parts, layout and disassembly or installation responsibilities during the walkthrough.

Your organization assigns its own decision-maker, IT lead and building contacts. We agree the moving responsibilities with those people before work starts, including who can approve changes and who receives the completed work.

Match the materials to what is moving

Reusable crates and packing materials

Plan crate quantities, packing responsibilities, delivery and collection around the move sequence. K2 Space’s completed project included a crate drop before its desk relocation.

Destination labels and the floor plan

Assign destination rooms or workstations before packing. Keep desk equipment and components identified so the crew can place them against the approved layout.

Protective packing and building access

Review item protection and the building’s floor, wall and elevator requirements during the walkthrough. Agree the packing materials, protection and access route in the scope before move day.

Plan building access

Vehicles and handling equipment

The load, item dimensions, dock, elevator and access route determine the vehicle and handling requirements. Confirm the equipment plan and any specialist provider with your project manager. Heavy machinery and specialist systems require a separate handling review.

Coordinate IT equipment handoffs

What we confirm for your project

  • The inventory, destination layout and tasks included in the written price.
  • The crew and equipment requirements, access windows and moving sequence.
  • Who packs, approves changes, handles IT and signs off on placement.
  • Building insurance requirements and any separate specialist work.

Ask for a current certificate of insurance. We review your building’s required limits and endorsements before confirming the work; coverage is subject to the policy terms.
