SMS Consent Proof

Exact consent language

The text below is rendered verbatim next to an unchecked-by-default checkbox on every Business Moving Group surface that collects SMS opt-in (the dedicated intake form at /sms-intake and the bottom-of-homepage section). The form itself is hosted at myinstantbook.com/widget/sms-intake/bmg and embedded by both surfaces, so the language cannot drift between them.

Where consent is collected

1. Dedicated SMS intake form at /sms-intake — single-page, iframed from the CRM. The unchecked-by-default checkbox plus the canonical consent paragraph and the clickable Privacy Policy and Terms of Service links are all present in the initial HTML response served by the CRM widget.
2. Bottom section of the homepage at businessmoving.com — the same iframed Business Moving Group intake form, rendered in a section near the page footer.
3. Booking funnel at /book — visitors who book a free walkthrough see the same SMS consent checkbox (unchecked by default) before they submit the form. The booking flow is also iframed from the CRM.

On every surface, the SMS consent checkbox is unchecked by default. SMS opt-in is optional and never a condition of purchase — every form on the site can be submitted with the box unchecked, in which case the lead is recorded with sms_opt_in=false and no text messages are sent.

Message types sent

The Business Moving Group SMS program is transactional only. We do not send promotional or marketing campaigns through this program.

Opt-out process

Recipients can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from all SMS messages. Reply HELP for assistance. Opt-out is honored immediately and confirmed via an auto-reply; no further texts are sent unless the recipient re-subscribes by submitting a new form with the SMS consent box checked.

Data handling

Phone numbers and consent timestamps are stored securely in our CRM. We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers with third parties.
